Remy means that the hair is collected with all strands running in the same direction (cut from a ponytail), this ensures that the hair cuticle layer is facing the same direction from root to tip. This greatly reduces tangling and means that it is kept looking and feeling natural.

• Are Flik Hair Extensions double drawn? 

Flik Hair Extensions are double drawn! We have gone through a lengthy process to ensure that the majority of hairs are all the same length, manually removing short hair making the extensions to be thick from top to ends. Your final look on your client ill noticeable different from that past extensions you have used. 

• Are Flik Hair Extensions straight, wavy or curly?

Flik hair Extensions hair has a natural texture or ‘body wave’. This means that the hair has a lovely loose wave or romance wave. It is a gentle flowing wave and is popular due to it matching most clients hair. The wave also gives the hair more body, and will hold a curl extremely well, but can still be styled straight very easily.

• How many packets of Flick Hair Extensions do I need for a full head?

We recommend a minimum of 2 packets of extensions of our permanent range for a full head, however this will differ based on every clients natural hair. With our non-permanent range you only require 1 packet.

• Can I colour my Flik Hair Extensions?

Flik Hair Extensions are 100% human hair and can be coloured and died, it is at your own risk. However, we do recommend a professional to colour your extensions as they have been through a process already, we do not recommend colouring or bleaching your extensions. Do a test strand first and treat them like bleached hair. 

Flik Hair Extensions guarantees its product to be free from faults when applied correctly and worn with the aftercare advise adhered to. Our guarantee does not cover any damage caused by normal wear and tear, bleaching, colouring or unreasonable use or neglect. All faulty claims must be made within 30 days of purchasing your product.

• Can I perm or straighten my Flik Hair Extensions?

Flik Hair Extensions are 100% human hair and can be heat styled, we recommend the heat to not to be over 180 degrees celsius. However, we do recommend a professional to perm your extensions as they have been through a process already, so perming your extensions will decrease the life of them and keep in mind the result you are wanting may not be achieved. Do a test strand first.

• Can I cut or style my Flik Hair Extensions?

Flik Hair Extensions are 100% human hair and can be styled, however, we strongly recommend Flik Hair Extensions Moisture Heat Protectant Spray to keep them frizz free and not to exceed 180 degrees celsius on your styling tools. We do recommend a professional to cut/blend your hair extensions.

• What is a weft/weave?

Weft/Weave hair extensions is one long piece of hair extensions, like a grass skirt, which is sewn together. The weft can then be cut up into sections to create a custom fit for each individual needs.

• How are they applied?

We recommend seeing a highly trained professional in weft extensions as there are multiple ways to apply weft/weave extensions.

1. The weft extension can be sewn to a braid (corn row) and several rows are added until the desired thickness is achieved.

2. Instead of a braid, micro beads can be used to clip your hair and the weft hair together to create a firm hold.

3. Flat Track weft method, which replaces the look of the braid. Your hair is clamped with micro beads horizontally around your scalp and the weft is then sewn onto the clamped beads.
