Dealing with stubborn cool undertones during dark lip neutralisation is a high-stress clinical hurdle. When melanin-rich mucosal tissue pulls ashy or purple post-healing, your clinic loses hours to corrective touch-ups and frantic client emails. Stop guessing your colour theory with this reliable warm orange modifier.
The Tina Davies Flame is a professional-grade PMU lip pigment specifically engineered to act as a vivid warm orange modifier for dark lip neutralisation and colour correction. Formulated by Perma Blend with a medium value opacity, this fluid suspension effortlessly injects thermal warmth into cool-toned tissue across Fitzpatrick 1-6 profiles. Its stable glycerine and rosin base ensures rapid dermal integration, transforming compromised or melanin-heavy lips into a neutralised canvas ready for target colours.
Building a foolproof colour-correction trolley is mandatory for modern clinics. Combine this warm modifier with the versatile shades within our Tina Davies PMU Pigments range. Need to expand your foundational bases? Explore our high-retention Perma Blend PMU Pigments or the precision-engineered Monica Ivani PMU Pigments for comprehensive coverage.
Tina Davies Flame is highly concentrated. Always agitate the bottle using a vortex mixer for 60 seconds to fully homogenise the heavy organic and inorganic particulates before pouring. Because it has a medium value and high thermal warmth, use it neat for initial passes on heavily melanin-rich lips to cancel blue/purple. Do not dilute with saline; strictly use professional shading solutions to maintain the correct surface tension and prevent binder breakdown.
Flame is my non-negotiable insurance policy for multicultural lip blushing. I load it straight into a 1RL or 3RS to rapidly pump warmth into the mucosal tissue before layering my target pinks or reds in a secondary session. To lock in this critical neutralisation phase, rigorous home care is vital. Instruct your clients to strictly follow their PMU Aftercare routine, applying a micro-layer of breathable barrier balm to prevent scabbing that could lift the freshly implanted modifier.
For mild coolness, you can add 1-2 drops of Flame directly into your target PMU lip pigment to warm the overall mixture. However, for significant dark lip neutralisation on Fitzpatrick 4-6 profiles, it is clinically safer to perform a dedicated colour-correction pass with Flame straight, allow the mucosal tissue to heal to a neutral canvas, and apply the target colour during the touch-up session.
The inclusion of glycerin and rosin gives Flame a slightly thicker, creamy viscosity that prevents rapid drying and pigment pooling in the cartridge reservoir. This specific suspension is ideal for 1RL whipping or pendulum techniques, providing a steady, controlled capillary flow without the pigment dumping into the fragile lip tissue too quickly.
Yes. While formulated explicitly for lips, the vivid orange undertone makes Flame a highly effective warm modifier for correcting grey, blue, or ashy healed PMU eyebrows. When crossing over to the brow area, adjust your hand speed and needle depth to account for the thicker dermal layers compared to the lips to ensure safe implantation.
