Frequently Asked Questions About Salon Furniture
Find answers to common questions below.
Prioritise two primary metrics: client comfort and therapist adjustability. Ensure your beauty beds have sufficient foam depth to prevent discomfort during long appointments, and choose height-adjustable technician stools and tables to prevent repetitive strain injuries. Additionally, select non-porous PU vinyl upholstery that can handle constant chemical sanitization without cracking.
To provide fast and secure freight routing across Australia, our oversized salon equipment and heavy furniture items are securely dispatched from our commercial warehouse facilities located in New South Wales and Queensland using reputable bulky goods freight networks.
Yes, absolutely. Because heavy salon equipment requires custom freight calculation, you can contact our customer service team prior to ordering to secure a free, no-obligation freight quote. If you choose to checkout directly on the website instead, our team will calculate the accurate shipping rate post-purchase and email you a separate freight invoice for payment before dispatching your items.
We stand firmly behind the long-term reliability of our wholesale equipment collection. The vast majority of our premium hydraulic pump bases, heavy-duty structural frames, and internal electrical components come backed by manufacturer warranties—typically offering 12 months of coverage for electrical systems and pumps, and up to 5 years for structural frame weld integrity.
To maximize the lifespan of your vinyl upholstery and prevent premature cracking or hardening, never apply harsh alcohol-based disinfectants or abrasive solvents directly to the fabric. Instead, sanitize surfaces between clients using a pH-neutral cleaner or an alcohol-free salon disinfectant spray. We strongly advise utilizing fitted protective bed covers or disposable protective rolls to prevent permanent hot wax drips and intense lash tint pigment stains.
Upgrading your salon furniture is a direct, tax-deductible business expense. We highly recommend speaking with your accountant or financial advisor regarding the Australian Government's Instant Asset Write-Off provisions to maximize your cash back during the End of Financial Year (EOFY) period when investing in premium salon beds, styling chairs, or advanced electrical gear.
Because commercial salon furniture items are large, heavy, and oversized, beauty beds and styling chairs are shipped via specialized bulky freight carriers. We dispatch daily from our partner warehouses located in Queensland and New South Wales. Heavy equipment does not qualify for standard free shipping tiers. Customers are encouraged to request a free freight quote before purchasing; alternatively, we will calculate the final freight cost after an order is received and email an invoice for payment before arranging ground-floor delivery to your salon premises.
