Sticky wax residue slows treatment turnaround, ruins salon linen, and triggers post-depilatory histamine reactions or follicular pustules when clients walk out into the Australian heat. Mineral-heavy post-care oils often trap heat and clog dilated follicles, leaving clients uncomfortable and prone to bacterial inflammation.
The Caronlab After Waxing Oil with Tea Tree is a professional-grade post-depilatory cleanser and skin conditioner specifically engineered to dissolve stubborn strip and hot wax resins instantly while sanitising freshly epilated follicles with pharmaceutical-grade Australian Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree).
Pair with your favourite strip formulas from our Professional Depilatory Waxes collection, keep workstations hygienic using Salon Disinfectants & Sanitation, or streamline setup with our full range of Waxing Consumables & Accessories.
Primary Actives: Pure Australian Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Technical Lipid Solvents, Skin Conditioners.
Viscosity: Ultra-lightweight fluid oil.
Aroma Profile: Crisp, medicinal, herbal camphor profile that reassures clients of clinical hygiene.
Format: 250ml ergonomic trigger spray bottle (compatible with bulk 1L refills).
1. Complete the waxing service and inspect the treatment area for remaining adhesive residue.
2. Dispense 1–2 light mists directly onto large zones (legs, arms, back), or spray directly onto a clean wax strip or cotton pad for targeted areas like the brows, lip, or bikini line.
3. Massage in firm, broad effleurage strokes until all tackiness is broken down.
4. Pro Therapist Tip: Keep a dedicated bottle within arm’s reach during your shift—a quick spritz onto an unspun paper strip swiftly cleans sticky spatulas and trolley surfaces without stripping laminate finishes.
Remind clients that follicles remain dilated for 24–48 hours post-treatment. Advise avoiding hot spas, intense gym sessions, or tight synthetic clothing. Caronlab's tea tree layer provides immediate antimicrobial defence, but retail ingrown hair treatments should only commence 48 hours post-service once erythema subsides.
Yes, but avoid misting directly onto the face or labia minora. Spray the oil onto a damp or dry cotton round and gently wipe the brow line, upper lip, or bikini boundary. The tea tree concentration is calibrated for post-epilatory protection, but direct mucosal contact must be avoided.
No. Unlike standard paraffin or high-comedogenic vegetable oils, this formula utilises rapid-absorbing, lightweight lipids paired with tea tree’s natural germicidal action. It dissolves leftover resin without forming an occlusive barrier that suffocates sweat ducts or open hair follicles.
The atomising trigger prevents over-pouring, which is common with twist-top bottles. At approximately 2 sprays per leg or back section, a 250ml bottle yields between 120 to 150 client applications, keeping your average product cost per treatment well under $0.15.
It is formulated primarily to cut through the sticky, hydrocarbon-based residues left behind by strip waxes. For hot wax, while hard wax typically sets and lifts completely, any accidental flecks or residue caught in fine vellus hair will dissolve cleanly under this oil.
