Scrubbing hardened wax from temperature dials, base rings, and trolley surfaces between appointments kills salon turnaround speed. Flimsy paper collars tear, buckle under hot wax strings, and leave your heater prone to internal element contamination.
The Caronlab Professional Wax Heater Protective Skirt is a professional-grade reusable wax heater collar specifically engineered to catch stray drips, eliminate sticky residue buildup, and maintain strict clinical hygiene across treatment stations.
Streamline your workstation by pairing your setup with our professional waxing supplies, restock everyday essentials via waxing disposables, or upgrade your room layout with durable salon furniture.
NOTE: WAX HEATER IS NOT INCLUDED
Engineered to clip securely onto Caronlab Australia heating systems and standard wax packaging formats:
Clean down the protective skirt at the conclusion of daily trading while the heater retains gentle residual heat. Switch off mains power at the wall. Apply a citrus-based wax equipment cleaner or isopropyl alcohol solution directly to a clean disposable wax strip or high-tensile paper towel. Wipe down along the contoured gutter channel toward the outer perimeter. Avoid soaking the collar in pure acetone or chlorinated solvents to preserve the polymer surface finish.
Seat your metal insert into the unit with the pot handle positioned straight backward. Snap the three-prong skirt firmly into place, checking that the skirt's inner rim sits flush below the insert lip. When lifting spatulas loaded with hot film or strip wax, run the underside of the wooden spatula against the inner metallic insert lip, allowing excess stringing to drop safely into the skirt gutter rather than onto the heater casing.
The internal clips are precisely calibrated for Caronlab 500ml and 1-litre wax heater chassis. While the diameter may sit loosely over select third-party 800ml-1000ml pots with similar cylindrical dimensions, the three locking prongs will not snap securely onto heaters with wider outer rims, square housings, or flared top edges. For guaranteed locking stability, use on Caronlab heaters.
Never scrape the skirt with metal spatulas, tweezers, or abrasive scourers, as fine gouges create crevices for wax to bond permanently. Instead, warm the collar slightly with a hair dryer or let the wax heater run on standby for 5 minutes, then wipe clean using a professional citrus wax solvent and a soft disposable fleece strip.
Yes. The durable polymer construction is chemically non-reactive to everyday salon disinfectants, including isopropyl alcohol (70%+), quaternary ammonium spray wipes, and clinical-grade surface sanitisers. Ensure the collar is wiped dry before restarting high-temperature heating cycles.
Yes. The protective collar clips directly onto the outer wall of the Caronlab heater, remaining independent of the inner canister. You can place Microwave to Pot™ hard and strip wax tubs directly into the well cavity; the protective skirt will sit snugly around the top rim of the tub to catch stray drips.
No. The skirt is manufactured from industrial heat-stabilised plastic rated to withstand continuous heating far exceeding standard salon wax liquefaction levels (typically 45°C to 80°C). It will not warp, soften, discolour, or emit chemical odours during full-day salon operations.
