Narrow applicators slow down high-volume leg, back, and chest appointments, leading to uneven wax distribution, cooling before adhesion, and fatigued wrists. Caronlab Wooden Maxi Jumbo Spatulas eliminate dragging and flex fatigue, allowing you to lay down broad, uniform strips with controlled pressure across large anatomical treatment zones.
The Caronlab Wooden Maxi Jumbo Spatulas are a professional-grade single-use wooden wax applicator specifically engineered to deliver maximum surface coverage, superior flexural rigidity, and uncompromised salon hygiene when laying down strip and hard waxes over large treatment areas.
Streamline your workstation setup by pairing these jumbo applicators with our selection of All Waxes, keep your station organised with durable Disposables and Waxing strip packs, and uphold strict treatment room protocols with professional Hygiene & infection control solutions.
For strip wax on extensive areas like thighs or male torsos, dip the leading 3–4 cm of the spatula into the wax heater, rotating cleanly against the pot lip to control drip. Apply at a 45-degree angle in the direction of hair growth, applying steady downward tension to ensure a wafer-thin, translucent film. For peelable hard wax, position the spatula at 90 degrees on the return pass to build a defined, raised lip along the outer edge for seamless removal without breakage.
Never re-dip used spatulas into professional wax pots. The generous 500-unit count ensures your cost-per-treatment remains minimal (fractions of a cent per spatula), enabling strict compliance with Australian Public Health regulations without undermining treatment profit margins.
While engineered primarily for large anatomical planes such as legs, arms, backs, and chests, experienced therapists frequently use maxi spatulas to quickly lay wide foundation patches during standard bikini and Brazilian hard wax services. For precision work—such as labial contours, eyebrows, or facial waxing—we recommend switching to narrow or tongue-depressor-sized applicators from our spatula range for tighter mechanical control.
No. Caronlab uses high-density birchwood with close-grain integrity, ensuring high tensile strength that resists bowing, bending, or snapping even under firm downward pressure with high-viscosity hard waxes. Each applicator is tumble-finished to yield smooth, snag-free edges that will not splinter or scratch sensitised client skin.
A standard full-leg wax requires between 4 and 8 spatulas under strict no-double-dipping protocols. At wholesale carton rates, Caronlab 500-packs generally cost between $0.02 and $0.04 per stick, adding just $0.10 to $0.32 in consumable expenses per service. This negligible overhead protects your client base from cross-contamination while upholding accredited commercial salon standards.
Yes. These spatulas are manufactured from 100% natural, untreated birchwood with zero synthetic plastic coatings, toxic glues, or chemical bleaches. They are completely biodegradable and break down naturally, serving as a sustainable single-use consumable for environmentally conscious salons.
