Neutralising pale or cool mucosal tissue without creating a stark, artificial border is a daily challenge in cosmetic tattooing. When sheer pigments fail to anchor, artists waste valuable clinic time on excessive passes, increasing epidermal trauma and post-treatment swelling.
The Perma Blend Sweet Melissa is a professional-grade PMU lip pigment specifically engineered to deliver a highly saturated, earthy pink tone with maximum high opacity. Formulated exclusively for cosmetic tattooing, this heavy-duty pigment provides predictable polymerisation and exceptional dermal retention, allowing artists to achieve dense colour implantation rapidly while maintaining the tissue's structural integrity.
Expand your clinic's colour theory capabilities by pairing this earthy pink staple with our broader range of Perma Blend PMU Pigments. For pre-modified formulations and diverse palettes, explore our curated selection of Tina Davies PMU Pigments and the precision-crafted Monica Ivani PMU Pigments.
Absolutely not. Mixing this formulation with water, saline, or non-approved thinning agents will fracture the pigment's chemical suspension and binder ratio. This leads to poor dermal retention, immediate colour drop-off during healing, and unpredictable patching. To reduce the high opacity for a sheer lip blush or tint effect, you must exclusively use Perma Blend Thinning or Shading Solutions to maintain the correct fluid viscosity.
During longer procedures (over 60-90 minutes), high-density pigment particles can begin to separate from their carrier fluids. To prevent this, ensure you shake the bottle vigorously for a full minute before your initial pour. Additionally, use a sterile micro-brush to gently stir the pigment ring periodically throughout the treatment. This maintains a homogenous viscosity and ensures even implantation from the first pass to the last.
Unopened, Perma Blend pigments remain stable for up to 3.5 years. Once opened, the strict expiration is 12 months. To preserve the chemical integrity and prevent premature thickening or bacterial contamination, always handle the bottle with fresh, single-use gloved hands. Ensure the cap is securely fastened immediately after decanting, and store the bottle in a temperature-controlled environment, strictly away from direct sunlight or UV exposure.
