Correcting old, stubborn ashy or greyish cosmetic tattoos is a high-stakes clinical challenge. For PMU artists, working over degraded, cool-toned titanium dioxide without creating a muddy dermal layer causes serious operational anxiety and often leads to compromised healed results.
The Perma Blend Tina's Gold Sunrise is a professional-grade PMU pigment specifically engineered to neutralise ashy, cool-toned brows. Formulated with a highly stable yellow-orange base, this modifying shade acts as a powerful warm corrector for Fitzpatrick skin types 1-4. It guarantees predictable polymerisation when used neat or intermixed, allowing you to restore natural warmth to the skin without oversaturating the dermis.
Expanding your corrective PMU palette? Ensure you have the right formulations to manage any dermal undertone. Shop our full range of Perma Blend PMU Pigments, stock up on trusted Tina Davies PMU Pigments, or browse the highly requested Monica Ivani PMU Pigments for premium clinical results.
Use Tina's Gold Sunrise for old pigment that has faded to a cool ashy, blue-grey, or muddy green tone. Because it contains a strong, balanced yellow-orange base, it specifically neutralises those cool wavelengths while leaving a soft, natural warm canvas behind. For deeply saturated, stubbornly dark blue-black ink, a pure, high-opacity orange corrector may be required before transitioning to your final target colour.
Absolutely. For clients with naturally cool, vascular undertones (Fitzpatrick 1-4) where you anticipate an overly ashy healed result, adding 1-2 drops of Tina's Gold Sunrise into your target pigment cup will pre-warm the formula. Ensure you mix thoroughly with an electronic pigment mixer to bind the carrier fluids and prevent colour separation during dermal implantation.
The inclusion of high-quality glycerin provides a slicker, slightly slower drying time compared to purely alcohol-based or aqueous pigments. This medium viscosity means you should work with a moderate hand speed and a slightly lower voltage. This allows the needle to deposit the pigment smoothly and cleanly without causing excessive dermal trauma or splattering on the skin surface.
