Managing Fitzpatrick 1-3 clients who naturally pull warm during the healing process is a constant clinical battle. For cosmetic tattooists, relying on unstable brown inks often leads to premature orange or salmon fading, forcing you into extensive, trauma-inducing corrective touch-ups and damaging long-term client retention.
The Tina Davies Ash Brown is a professional-grade PMU brow pigment specifically engineered to deliver a versatile, neutral-cool mid-tone. Formulated with a highly concentrated organic hybrid suspension and intelligently pre-warmed with a yellow base, this specific viscosity implants smoothly into the papillary dermis. It guarantees predictable polymerisation, effectively neutralising residual red and orange tones while reducing procedure time for fair to olive skin profiles.
Building a comprehensive corrective palette is essential for a high-performing clinic. Pair this cool-toned staple with our broader range of Tina Davies PMU Pigments, or contrast your trolley's capabilities with Perma Blend PMU Pigments and precision-crafted Monica Ivani PMU Pigment. Protect your neutralised canvas with PMU Colour Retention Pre & Aftercare.
Ash Brown has a distinct neutral-cool undertone. Applying it directly to Fitzpatrick 1-2 clients with strong blue or pink undertones increases the risk of it healing overly grey. However, because this specific formulation is uniquely pre-warmed with a yellow base, it offers significantly more stability than traditional cool browns. For extremely cool canvases, still consider modifying with a warm orange drop.
Organic pigments possess smaller particle sizes that implant into the papillary dermis much faster than traditional heavy inorganic iron oxides. You must use a lighter hand, fewer passes, and a softer machine speed; otherwise, you risk overworking the delicate brow tissue and causing the ash brown colour to heal overly saturated, blown out, or densely grey.
Ash Brown is an exceptional corrector for faded red or orange brows due to its strong cool-neutral mass tone. For mildly warm, faded brows, you can tattoo Ash Brown directly over the old work. The cool base will chemically neutralise the warmth in the skin, resulting in a balanced, natural mid-tone brown heal without the need for a separate green corrector.
