Achieving a seamless scar camouflage on deeper, cooler complexions without the pigment looking muddy or washing out is a major challenge in paramedical tattooing. Fighting incorrect depth and undertone calibration on melanin-rich skin creates stressful clinical bottlenecks. Enter your new baseline: Perma Blend Scar Dark Dermis.
The Perma Blend Scar Dark Dermis is a professional-grade PMU mixing pigment specifically engineered to deepen and cool base tones for flawless scar camouflage on deeper skin. Formulated as part of Mandy Sauler’s innovative MixITUP! line, this specialty adjustment mixer is designed to be blended into Brown Dermis to match cool Fitzpatrick 4 and 5 complexions. It ensures predictable polymerisation within scar tissue, saving you correction sessions and guaranteeing a natural, undetectable finish.
Expanding your clinical camouflage toolkit? A professional salon requires versatile, high-performance formulations. Perma Blend PMU Pigments, contrast your setups with the pre-modified richness of Tina Davies PMU Pigments, or explore the precision-crafted Monica Ivani PMU Pigments to optimise your clinical workflows.
Start with your Brown Dermis base cup and add Dark Dermis incrementally drop by drop. Because Dark Dermis is highly concentrated for deepening cool tones, gradual addition prevents you from over-darkening the custom mix. Test a small swatch on the client's peri-scar area and let it settle to confirm the match.
No. This product is strictly formulated as a deep-cool adjustment mixer. Using it as a standalone pigment without a primary brown skin-tone base will result in an unnaturally dark or heavy discoloured patch on the skin. Always use it as a corrective additive within a calibrated custom formulation.
Scar camouflage on melanin-rich skin requires strict management during the initial epithelialisation phase. Instruct clients to keep the area clean and dry, blotting lymph fluids immediately to prevent hard scabbing. Apply only a microscopic amount of non-petroleum ointment, and warn clients to avoid clothing friction, swimming, and direct sun exposure until complete healing occurs.
